Autumn & Winter are my favourite seasons and by gosh does Scotland do them well. We may not get treated to the most sun drenched summers but we are certainly pro’s at Autumn & Winter up North!

It is already feeling pretty Autumnal up here, it’s cold enough to dig out those cable knit sweaters & cosy socks, my boots are out & my husbands kilt socks have been pinched! I’m layering, wearing chunky scarfs & it’s only a matter of time before the pom pom hat will be upon my head. I’m  embracing endless cups of hot chocolate with obligatory cream & marshmallows & enjoying walks with the low sun warming our skin after spotting the ever-growing conkers & red berries. The leaves have started turning & the air is definitely feeling more crisp. The night’s are darker &  the smell of cinnamon candles float through the air. Mmmm Autumn.
